Hi, I am posting this thread on behalf of my brother who had his account hijacked this morning and so can't create a thread himself.

My situation is that at approximatly 21/10/09 1am Australian Eastern time my account was hacked. I know this as in the morning I couldnt log in due to incorrect password and upon checking my email I discovered I had had a confirmation of my currency being changed to USD (which I didnt do), an attempt to charge my credit card $25 (which I didnt do and thankfully failed due to security) and then an attempt on my linked UK paypal for $25 (which I didnt do and was unfortunalty successfull). This has not been followed by any other emails which leads me to believe they have now changed my email address too.

I have sent a message to technical support which replied that they would get back to me in 4-6 days and ive disputed the paypal transaction with paypal but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on what I can do as waiting 4-6 days while someone else has my account with access to all my contacts and my account balance sucks.

My biggest concern as they cant get anymore money is my contacts, if they delete these is there anyway to have them recovered?
