Hey Wlamore!
Wow that is an old Screen Adapter driver!
5.1024.0329.0002 (English)
DDI Version: 7
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 8/17/2001
I would start by updating the driver.
Let me know what happens.

Bill

Make sure the problem is "you", by calling my Video Test Machine. If you see green then try updating your Screen Adapter Driver. Somehow it must have gotten corrupted.

Bill

My computer has a S3 Virge Screen Adapter Driver. I just installed the ASUS last year and ran the software that came with it. I did a google for the S3 Virge video adapter on their site to download the latest but found nothing. This is unusal since I have downloaded up to date drivers from the Dell site and many others with no problem. Why would this Screen Adapter Driver be any differnce. I have looked on ASUS for the mother board type and found a bios upgrade, would upgrading the mother board bios correct this.
Does anyone know why Skype would release a new version that freezes the video of who you are talking with after 2-3 minutes???
How can I get back to the earlier version???
Skype makes more problems for me just as I get one solved there is another. So what if it is free it does not work easly for the end user without expensive help.
Can anyone in the forum give me clue where to look.
