Hi All
I removed someone from my contact list (without blocking), because I don't want that he can see my Skype status.
Can I be sure, that my Skype status can't be seen by them or did I have to block them?
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom.
Look at my post a few posts down the list. People do not even need to have been on the contact list to see your status.
Maybe there is a bug in the program somewhere.
I can remember at the end of a conversation I got a request to add the person to my contacts. I ticked the cross in the upper right corner and believed I discarded the request. Maybe that did not was what happened.
Also look at Options, Privacy so that you have ticked off your status showing.

once you have exchanged contact details with another Skype user, they will be able to see your online status regardless of whether they continue to be in your contact list -- to prevent someone from seeing your online status after you have exchanged details, you MUST block that user
it is not possible to see a Skype user's online status prior to having exchanged contact details with them
