I was lucky I qualified and have access to cjcommission and arrived to the page with the banner codes to paste on my website.

MY QUESTION: How do I know that the banner code pasted in my website has got my affiliate ID in it so that I get compensated.
Normally with other affiliate programes the html code includes the affiliate id number in the code itself. This is not the case with skype banners cause when i clicked on the banner from my webiste it transfered to the main page of skype without any affiliate id number.

How do they track the commission sales then?

If you retrieve the code from your user area in CJ, they will ensure that the code that they have given you contains your ID and rewards you for the referrals you have generated.

Here's how to get the banner code:

You need to obtain all the links for our affiliate program, through your CJ publisher account, or else the links won’t track for you. First go to your publisher account and go under the Get Links tab. Once in there search for Skype in the advertiser list, once it pops up apply to the program by checking the box to the left of the “Skype Affiliate Program” and then press the button “Apply to Program”.

After you have been accepted you can get the links – click on “View Links” in the first column “Advertiser” and then you’ll be taken to all the links. You are free to use any link that you like – we have over twenty texts links and banner links to choose from.

If you have any further difficulties navigating through the Commission Junction site, have any difficulties with uploading your links, or have any technical questions in general, then please use the “Contact Us” feature via your Commission Junction account to request direct assistance from them – they will be more than happy to help! Alternatively if you are not able to access your CJ account you can contact them via http://www.cj.com/about/contact.jsp

this is very easy just click on get banner code and a window will open up to select banners text links. next you u will be provided with the banner you ticked very easy!!

When I first got SKYPE I had a Flash banner I placed on my web site . With all the updates I noticed that it no longer displays and always shows as a broken link now. What happened ?
I don't think back then I had to sign up as an affiliate.
