Full Version: SMS confirmation does not seem to work completely

I use Skype Version 2.1.0.47 on Ubuntu 9.04 64bit.

It works fine for me, already had some phone calls, also to the landline network. I wanted to get my SMS feature working and recognized, that the confirmation procedure in the Skype SMS settings does not fully work.

1. Step: Chose country and entered phone number. Worked fine, I got an SMS with a wholy uppercase, alphabetic 10-character confirmation code.

2. Step: After entering this code in the line below and trying to send it, Skype told me, that the code could not be transferred. I use an automatic HTTP proxy setting, but as the first part already worked and phone/chat also work, I cannot believe, that this could be the cause.

As there is a fee collected for this procedure (SMS), I assume, this should work.

Great thanks in advance for your help. Great app.

I don't know if this is the right place telling my issue. I am only a private Skype user and not a Skype for Business user. I just wanted to let Skype developers know, that there might be an issue (at least with the linux port).

Many thanks for your fast reply anyway.
