I'm using Mac OSX 10.4, have a brand new Hue HD Webcam, the latest version of Skype, and still my webcam cuts out just seconds after connecting.

I've been through the manual, tried contacting the seller, and still no luck.
When going into "preferences", and clicking on the "video" tab my webcam appears for a few minutes until the screen goes blank and it reads; "Camera in Use by Other Application."
The software for the camera is closed, I am only using firefox and skype!!
Has anyone else had this problem, or have any suggestions?

I am having the same problem. Using OS 10.4.11 with Skype 2.8.0.722. I have Firefox and Camino open. Were you able to figure out what the problem was and/or how to fix? I need to try with Skype being the only app running. Have you tried doing that?
