My online number was scheduled to exprie on 10 Oct 2009. A few days ago I extended the online number via Paypal and everything went threw just fine. When I sign into view my account via skype.com the online number has the new expiration date. However, when I sign in with Skype.app I'm still getting the yellow exclamation point telling me my online number expires in "x" days etc. Anyone know how to correct this? Thanks.

i'm getting this yellow alert also. and, yes, i did pay to extend my online number. Skype.com says the online number is now good until January 10, 2010. BUT the skype application still has that yellow alert saying that my online number expires in 3 days. looks like there's no way to manually refresh this in the skype application? i'm using the Mac version 2.8.0.722 of the Skype application and that i believe is the latest version of the Mac version of the Skype software. i think i'll try skype on windows to see what that looks like.

okay. i'm getting pretty much the same thing with the windows version 4.1.0.166 of the skype software under windows. the alert in windows says: Online number expires 10/10/2009. and then there's the underlined "extend" link after that. i click that and then i get a window for Skype.com where i can click to see that my online number is already extended until January 10, 2009. last week, i paid to extend that. but there's that alert in both the mac version of the skype software and in the windows version of the skype software. well, to say the least, something seems to not be working here.

i found a FAQ page about the expiration of Skype Credit balances not updating on the Skype webpage and there it said it could take up to 10 days to update.

that's not exactly the situation here but it provides a possibe explanation.

so maybe that's what's happening here with these yellow alerts in the skype software. meaning, it may take up to 10 days for these yellow alert flags to go away. makes sense sense to me, but it's still worrisome. i guess i have to wait a few more days to actually check to see if my skype online number is still actually working. i would expect that this is just an annoyance and not a problem since i did pay to extend it.

okay, an update: the yellow alert has gone away but when you click your skype credit dollar amount, the icon for the Online Number has a red stop symbol (red circle with a line through it). but at least that's hidden away. this is on the mac version of the Skype software. maybe that go away in a day or so?

over on the windows version of the Skype software, the alert is gone. nothing it seems to indicate there is a problem. so no problem in windows. good.

fyi, my Online Number does work (because i paid to extend/renew it).

I extended my Skype Online Number on October 2. Payment went through and online it shows that it now expires on November 2, 2010, BUT I have a yellow triangle that came up 2 weeks ago and now states that I have 1 day left before it expires. This is Skype for Mac 2.8.0.722 !!! How about a fix for this?
