This product has been on the market for quite a long time. But, some vital features for corporate market seem still missing, such as:

- Unique corporate Skype accout for Hunting group with auto call distribution;
- Extended digits to address world-wide Skype accounts;
- Supports beyond 4 ports;
- CDR: Call records managements;
- Single corporate SkypeOut account support;
- ...

Unless these minimum requirements can be met, corporate managers will not move away from traditional SIP-based gateway/ip-pbx, no matter how cheap the Skype-based gateway is. It is simply not feasible...

You can connect a Teleon Gateway card to your exsiting PBX:
1. Insert the Teleon card in your PC.
2. Connect a phone cord from Teleon card to one of your EXT jack in your PBX.
3. Now Skype works as an extension in your PBX.

Details refer to www.teleon.net

You can even try Skype2PBX.
This is a Software Based solution, use a Waitec EZ-I Phone Box to interact with the PBX and support up to 99 lines.
Very interesting.

There are 2 USB phone adapters, one made by Dlink called the DPH-50U and the other by USR called the 9620.

These devices could be used as the poor mans PBX interface. Currently you can only run one per computer, but I am working on changing that :wink:

They have many other features as well. More Information here:

Skip2PBX
Hello, I was just thumbing through his topic of connecting Skype to PBX and was rather alarmed to find a response (see way above) saying "you Can'T"...OF COURSE you CAN!!!! and with Skip2PBX (a product made especially for this very purpose!)

I have seen Skip2PBX come to the rescue of many companies who happen to be ailing from an overbearing long distance phone bill, and >I can personally vouch to the availability of Skip2PBX's customer service team< being available to answer any of your questions and/or make the appropriate inquiries to repond to any of your requests. Current version of Skip2PBX also supports USB boxes, so the age-old questions of insurmountable hardware requirements are no longer a concern.
Find out more at skip2pbx.com

I saw on the website that SkipToPBX also supports connectivity to SIP infrastructures. So in fact it would be possible to let Skype users call with i.e. Office Communicator Users connected to an OCS environment in a company. Has anyone already tested this?
