Full Version: Chat logging for compliance in corporate environment

Yay this is my first forum post ever in my life, even though I've been reading them since the Internet has been around.

I'm the network administrator for a corporation which is subject to a bunch of corporate compliance stuff. Given our size, we always have to be prepared for the potential liability of litigation and electronic discovery (e-discovery).

That said, the only way I can deploy Skype in our company is if I can ensure that users' chat sessions are logged SOMEWHERE. It's my understanding that the Group Policy Template for Skype can't control chat logging--am I correct? Is there another way to accomplish this?

I've searched the forums and Google and can't find anything that really satisfies me, so I turn to you, great forum...

Thanks in advance.

Mike,
Have a look at FaceTime, that may provide a solution.
