I work for a small business that is interested in using Skype for conference calls made monthly to all the field employees. We want to be able to add in about 40 field employees. We would like to be able to video conference with all of them at the same time, if they can see us but we can't see them that is fine. We would like to be able to use slide shows that everyone in the call can see.

Is this possible through skype? How would I set this up? What would we need to purchase?

Thank you for your help.

My immediate reaction is that you are stretching the capability of Skype software, your PC and your network link. Skype customer support can be veeerrryyy slooowwww, and having 40 people waiting for a problem to be solved can be expensive.

Have a look at something like webex.com video conferencing. There are a range of companies which offer such facilities.
