Maybe someone can help me out... I was under the impression that w/ Skype mobile I would not be using my minutes to make calls. I planned on just using Skype w/ my E71 to call local numbers for work, but I'm finding out that I'm still using minutes.

Can anyone help clear things up for me?

my name is joshy,i was using iphone and even windows OS mobile,There i installed skype lite and i was using skype through WIFI same like my laptop and its working perfectly.Recently i bought Nokia E71,and i installed skype for this phone.There i saw that one entry for entering my phone no.I entered my mobile no.After that i tried to sign in.Then i try to call some other phone nos like mobile nos.Then system is trying to connect some nos and deducting my phone charge.Then from there skype is connecting to my destination no.why its happening here like this?If i buy skype online No and if i enter that no, will that issue will be solved?

if from nimbuzz skype we can call any mobile?

if any body can help me to solved this issue please

I have been having similar issues. I paid for the monthly unlimited assuming that I would not be using minutes, that wasn't the case. I even bought a Skype # hoping that it would recognize my account, but every time my phone calls out it still deducts minutes. I've been trying to get this wifi thing figured out, but no luck so far. Fortunately Skype's technical support call center has been a huge help (sarcasm)!

Let me know if you figure out the issue and I will be sure to do the same.

I am going to split your post from this topic as its unrelated and move it to the Skype Lite forum. Skype Lite has never ever been capable of making calls through Wifi and i am not being sarcastic it just never ever did this. You may have been using the 3 SkypePhone client which is different. Natrually I am not able to advise you on third party software but someone in the community may do.

Buying a skype In number will not stop you being charged to place calls using the skype lite client. The skype Lite Client places calls by dialing a local number from the handset.
