im on Pay as u go in uk (the rates are rubbish but i use it as i hardly have to make calls). but i've found that the skype rates for uk mobiles are just the same as my tarrif, in some cases more expensive, so i stick to using the mobile for those calls.

i wonder what the sms rates would be like if skype introduced text messaging in it's products.

also to note, yes skype offers great rates, but i've looked through my phone bills (after discounts of course as they count in my books). and it appears that the BT rates that i end up paying are also cheaper than skype, so now i use skype just to make free pc to pc calls.
