Using an i-Mate JAM with JABRA bluetooth headset, Skype app works great, but won't transfer the sound to my headset. Any ideas?

Hi,
Are all the other windows sounds and notifications played in your bluetooth headset?

Hi,
No-windows sounds and notifications are not heard via my bluetooth headset. Only calls made in and out of my pda are heard via my bluetooth headset.
Can skype be configured to use a headset profile?
Regards,
Mark.

Hi,
Great-thanks for the tip. I don't suppose you can detail or point me in the right direction as to how and what key to modify?
Thanks in advance,
Mark.

xai refers to changing the registry:
"Skype always use default(first) sound device.
change registry to WAV1 to use bt headset."
Can xai or someone who knows (maybe the Skype staff) point us in the right direction. I can see there are many who have the same problem.

I cannot find any skype related "stuff" in registry... But I found some *.xml files in application dataskypeshared.xml AND application dataskype"yourusername"config.xml.
In the config.xml I see there is a line with mic in: <MicVolume>10</MicVolume>
But I cannot find any speaker related stuff....
Anyone?

I don't have i-Mate JAM, so not sure.
(what dll(driver)is used for BT audio)
so, point urls
http://forum.skype.com/viewtopic.php?t=7879
http://ipaqclub.com.my/forum/viewtopic.php?t=411
but, remember it's sometimes *danger* way.
It's not Skype registry but OS(PocketPC)'s registry.
change default sound device to BT.
so all sounds are played with BT headset.

This is my experience with Skype (latest version): same problem with my iPaq hx2410 WM2003SE and Bluetooth headset Motorola H500. I can hear system sounds but no sound from Skype. Everything works fine without BT headset.

Same thing with my iPAQ 2750 (2003SE) and BT headset. I can hear the dial tone but after that nothing.
It worked all the way in WM5.0 but the quality was horrible. Downgraded to 2003SE hoping it would work better...
