Hi,

I'm trying to run skype under aoss. I have dmix enabled and it works. Also I've checked aoss by using it with realplayer while running BMP, also works.

When I run 'aoss skype' skype starts and when somebody calls me I hear the ring. The problem is when I answer I can't hear the other side talking and he can't hear me.
When I hang up I hear the 'click'.

If I run skype without aoss it works but then of course no mixing.

System : Archlinux - kernel 2.6.13.4
alsa 1.0.10 (lib,utils,oss)
sound card : intel8x0
skype :1.2.0.18

I'm using a regular microphone and headset - not usb.

If anyone encountered the same problem, or can help me I'd very much appreciate it.

you have the same sound chip as I do. Umm.. I've had this problem for certain calls. Try to record yourself to echo123.

When I run skype without aoss it works.
When I run skype with aoss I can't hear a thing, not the message nor myself.
