Hi all,

This has been puzzling me fort he last week or so but depending which PC I use to access the Skype homepage I get one of two different homepages?

I have cleared cache, tried shift+F5 but no change. Not sure if I have tried changing screen resolution but I'm sure one of you must have a simple expanation for this?

The best way I can describe the two homepages with screen capture and posting is one has a large blue box with "have you got the new Skype" and the other has a large green box with "with Skype you can talk to anyone anywhere forever for free".

All PC's are on the same home network all running latest version of XP SP2 and IE6.

Paul

There is one page that appears if you do not have Skype installed (http://www.skype.com/index.html) and another that appears if you do (http://www.skype.com/helloagain.html).

Ah now this is starting to make sense except.....

I have teo computer here, this one I am talking to you on with Skype running, the other is on 24x7 connected to my dualphone with Skype running.

This machine (the one I turn on/off) has the "hello again" page andthe other machine (24x7) has the skype.com page.

Both running versions of skype can see one another in contacts and talk to one another.

Is there something in the registry that tell i.e skype is installed?

Regards,

Paul

This is done with cookies, but I don't know which opportunities Skype use to set them.
