Full Version: Bad sound on 600MHz laptop

I installed the program on a 600MHz laptop - Thinkpad X21, running Fedora 2 and using 11MHz wireless for network connection.

The sound was terrible, almost impossible to hear voice.

But when running the program on a stationary PC with a 2GHz CPU and ordinary ethernet card, it works like a charm (also a linux Fedora 2).

I look for some kind of advanced settings for trimming the program to run on a slow PC.

Until now I have only used the Skype program on the home LAN, looking forward to use it over the Internet.

I think your sound settings is the problem. I did run it under thinkpad A20m 600MHz both the windows version using wine and the new Linux version, and both of them works very well.
