I have loaded Skype onto my Nokia N95 and logged in but I cannot make calls. I seem to be able to chat though. The Help says that the service is provided by my mobile phone provider (Vodafone) and not via my WiFi. Is this so? What's the point in logging on to my own WiFi signal to use Skype in my house if I'm using and paying for access via the mobile phone provider? Am I missing something here?

Moved to Skype Lite forum..
William,
First of all welcome to the skype community. Is it an N95 or an N97 your using?
If you are using an N95 then you can only use the Skype Lite client which will cost you the cost of a local call to connect to skype in the first place. As you will see from looking through this forum this has been discussed at length.
If you have the N97 then you can make p2p outgoing calls using your data connection - be advised you may be charged by your service provider for data usage
