This cannot possibly happen, don't you listen to Muppetmaster? SIP is the only way forward and Vonage is SIP.
How could Skype possibly kick the ass of SIP, I'll continue to listen to Muppet :-)

It wont. I look to SIP for one thing (hardware phones done well for phones) and Skype to another (softphones done well to work on a PC).
I like both and hope NIETHER kills either
