Full Version: lost "contact list"

I use v1.2.0.18. When I delete ~/.Skype/ and rerun /path/skype, I find my contact list is empty.
(I am sure I've already had few contacts in the list before deleting ~/.Skype/)
But this link says And starting with the newest versions of Skype (Version 1.2) Skype now stores all your contacts on our servers so there is no need to re-add contacts.

Furthermore, my call list is also empty in the skype account page.

Does anyone knows why I lose contact list? And the call list is empty?
(It seems that skype does not connect to the server.)
