I've been looking into getting a Skype Wifi phone because I have so far had good sound quality with skype calls.

So far I've looked around and have found mixed reviews about Skype Wifi phones and not sure which one to get or weather it is worth it to get one at all?

Also if I get a wifi phone can I make calls outside the skype p2p calling network like to landlines or cell phones as long as I am signed up for a Skype ultimate calling plan or have skype calling credit?

my name is joshy,i was using iphone and even windows OS mobile,There i installed skype lite and i was using skype through WIFI same like my laptop and its working perfectly.Recently i bought Nokia E71,and i installed skype for this phone.There i saw that one entry for entering my phone no.I entered my mobile no.After that i tried to sign in.Then i try to call some other phone nos like mobile nos.Then system is trying to connect some nos and deducting my phone charge.Then from there skype is connecting to my destination no.why its happening here like this?If i buy skype online No and if i enter that no, will that issue will be solved?

if from nimbuzz skype we can call any mobile?

if any body can help me to solved this issue please

If you are looking to get a skype phone then I would recommend you the 3 Skypephone S2 from 3 UK Network either on a pay as you go or on contract as this phone does the job and works better for skype calls.

Can you use a wifi phone without having a landline connected? I want to use the phone through home wifi and turn off the landline.

wifi phones connect through a wifi router, so a landline is not required. You can use SkypeIn and SkypeOut services to replace your landline. You cannot use Skype for emergency calls.
