I use skype once a week for about an hour. Since I recently upgraded to the final version for skype, the audio drops out after about 30-40 minutes. The other person can hear/see me but I can only see him. We've tried everything from deleting preferences, resinstalling, checking connection speed, etc, etc. Nothing helps.

Anyone else having this problem or any suggestions?

I have this exact same problem using Skype for OS X. I had it both on the previous version and the latest version. Every call, after about 40 minutes, degrades such that the person on the 'other' end cannot understand me. I can still hear them clearly.

I also have this problem since I upgraded.

I can see that the microphone Icon on the screen turns into a colour. When I click on this, the sound comes back on.

I believe though, that this happens earlier (10 minutes or so). Within a video call the other user has to tell me sometimes 3 times they cannot hear anything and I have to click that icon.

Just now I checked the options, but there is nothing I find to change that.

Hope somebody will tell what to do, it is annoying.
