Hello smile.png

I have just installed Skype on my Linux-machine, and now i am trying to figure out how to disable it from automatically starting each time i boot the computer.

On the Windows=Version this is easy.... but i can't find any "Start Skype when the computer starts" or similar in the Linux one.

How can i do that..?

Thanks in advance.....

Strange. I did not even manage it to autostart.
Did it autostart right after you've installed it? Which version are you on?

Hello smile.png

The Skype-version is 1.2.0.18, and it's on SuSe Linux 10.0.0. Both have been installed just today, i am a total Linux newbie smile.png

I found that if i do not tick the box "store my password on this computer" it won't auto-start, but then i have to enter the Skype name and password each time, which is rather disturbing.

Kind regards....

You are using KDE? GNOME? Other?

Good morning smile.png

I am using the KDE desktop, and Firefox as browser. Skype was installed via YAST because the command line thingy didn't want to work. As i said - Linux newbie smile.png

Kind regards.....

Okey. KDE have "save last session" as default. Start kcontrol (ALT + F2, type kcontrol). Search for session, and change the settings.
