I wonder whether calls can be picked-up/ dropped from the main function button on the headset?

I read this with interest today also. Not quite sure if or how it connects to the PC - is this a USB connection?

The connection between the headset and the PC is a Bluetooth connection (wireless via radio waves up to 30 feet). In this case it is between the Motorola Headset which you wear over your ear and the USB dongle which you plug into a USB port on your PC.
Once the Headset is connected to the PC and the Bluetooth liaison is active, then Skype can use the headset.
I need to know whether this Motorola "Skype Certified" headset can be used to pick-up and hang-up calls on Skype by pressing the main function button on the headset. Example: i am away from my computer but I am wearing my headset, I can hear an incoming call and do not want/ cannot run back to my screen- can I just pick up the call and hang up from the headset?
What gives?

OK, if you are the administrator, would not like to put our reply here. we don't put, that is no problem.

Replying back, suggesting an alternative it is ok, but I wouldn't want to see the same reply over and over again to every bluetooth related headset/dongle.
OK, if you are the administrator
No, he is not.
EDIT: after checking out his posting history, it is exactly what he's done, so it is not ok, skype forum is not about you caring about your clients, make you own forum for that. Meaningful product suggestions when ASKED is ok, hijacking each and every bluetooth related thread it is not. Ads in Extra and once is enough. No more copy paste answers and multiple treads.

I too have the same question about the multifunction button answering incoming outgoing calls via the Motorola (Skype certified) headset. Anyone found a solution?

I bought and returned the headset.
The answer to your question is no. You cannot answer and hang up using the head set. It simply does not work. The headset button only works to connect or disconnect you from the computer. Press by mistake and you will be disconnected from the computer and will have to re-connect. Not very practical at all...
Also, I had a problem with the mic shutting of exactly at 60 seconds into every call. Result: I would be talking and people could not hear me 1 minute into the call.
Therefore I returned and got my money back.
