i did my research already on this one, and i didnt find any response//
when calling outbound in USA, you can dial *67 then the number to block your number. the person youre calling, if he has a caller ID, it will show as "private number".
in cellphone also, they have this feature to block the number.
however, i was wondering with skype, if its possible to block the number, showing as 000012345, rather showing as "private caller".
or if possible, to show another number, maybe my house number, or my local 1-800 number.
the reason why is because i am out of the country, however, still conducting business to america. when i call my potential customers, i dont want them to read my number as "000012345", and them wondering if the number is legit or not.. i might lose them as customers just for this reason.
thanks!

It is not possible to show your SkypeIn/home- or 1-800 number as your caller ID. I did a forum search for you on the subject:
"Showing the (Skype In) number in a Skype Out call is something totally separate and different from the SKype In service itself.
Main barriers here are technical and mostly legal as the FCC in the US."

thanks for your response!
actually yes, i did research on that too already that the SKYPE IN and SKYPE OUT numbers are totally different, and programming the SKYPE IN number as the outgoing number is impossible..
however, if possible to "private number" the outbound calls is still what i look for...
let me know guys! thanks!
