My Skype is working - in basic mode ie: +11231234567 or liderbug (you can't call yourself). L&G Skype running on FC4

What I need to do is put in a string like this: P for pause and # for #
+18001234567 PPP 2223333 # P 123456789 # (spaces for clairity)

I can put commas in the string and it doesn' t complain, but doesn't seem to do anything.
More over I can't get the '#' to work and trying the keypad - don't respond after the connection.
