Recently my Philips VOIP8411b completely crashed. I had to restart it and once it had restarted all the network/router connection settings had disappeared. I re-connected it again to the router (as I did when I first bought it - it connected automatically) but it did not auto-detect the settings for the router. The manual does not tell me how to connect. Does anyone here know what I should do?
Thanks
Eelko

My guess is that you have to do the usual thing for Voip841, just try to reset it:
1.reset the base and also try unpluging power and also removing batteries from handset.
2.if that doesn't help try upgrading Firmware, that would help.
sometimes this problem happens to me when i connect my Voip841 to my Billion7300GA Router but all i do is unpluging the power of base and pluging it after 30sec and the problem is gone.

Interesting. I bought this 2nd hand voip841 and reset it and plugged it to my Billion 7401VGP with WIFI turned on --- and it went perfect! no dramas.
Of course there are still functionalities to be improved but I am surprised to hear connection problems.
