Guys,
There have been numerous of blogs, and announcement, and discussions about beta versions .... about a Skype lite client for Blackberry.

Now Android has it
iPhone has it
MID's are getting it
Windows Mobile has it ...
Guess there will be a Pre version some day
... but no BB version, only blogs and hot air.

Seriously: Somebody here is overdoing it. I don't think anyone cares whose fault it is, but it's clear that Skype did not at all deliver on the expectation it created. The client is way overdue.

So why not give a final and official answer:
Will be there a client?
If yes, when will there be a client?

I totally support your statement! Here in Argentina every BB user is waiting for skype client

Totally agree... Why it has been delayed A LOT? What will be the final and official decision from Skype? I heard that it was suppose to launch in May.. now it is mid of August.. May, June, July and August is running.... almost 4 months delayed..... frustrating!!!

Hasn't it been more like 2 years? I thought I saw posts from 2007 looking for some sort of beta version for BB. What's going on I'd like to know. Is RIM and Skype having a disagreement? What's the deal??? Should we be putting pressure on RIM to help with this development?
