I have I think a pertinent query re. this bank transfer through a European bank: my business partner made a 250 Euro payment from her bank to Bibit (Skype a/c) in Madrid two weeks & her Groups account's never been credited - not has she received any reply or acknowledgement from her Support queries!
I, with trepidation, arranged a bank transfer myself last week because I didn't have time to go through all the rigmarole of signing up with MoneyBookers as I needed my Groups account credited fast... So far, I myself have not been credited -- although I'll give it a couple more days before getting too antsy but, my question is - why is there not a better Support system for these questions? My partner never even received one email acknowledgement of her Support queries re. her billing! As such, she's now getting her bank to claim the funds back - all seems very unnecessary & time-consuming and I'm personally worried that I'm going to have to go through the same hassle... Anyone have any input as to HOW to get some response if there are these Billing problems?

Hi margaretf,
Your order has been delivered now, in general it takes at least 7-10 days for a bank transfer to be processed and delivered.

Hello ! I'm responsible for the STAR INFORMATIC SKYPE group and we have exactly the same problem... We made a bank transfer last week (Thursday 10/11) and until now, nothing has been credited. No reply to my support message as well... As I can read, I still have to wait a few more days to get the money creditted, but our General Manager is currently in Morocco waiting for this credit ! He was very pleased about SKYPE ... until now...
At least, it would be nice to have some feedback ... It helps you wait..
Please advise me.

Hallo,
I have the same problem.
This is the support request I have submitted:Dear Sirs,
"This is the second time I write you, you have never replied to my previous email.
I have paid a skype group amount of 50 Euros, my reference payment is 1143344577. This amount has already been tranferred to Bibinet Payments, through ABN Amro Bank of Milan.
Yet, I see no skype group credit available.
I would like to know when it will be available, and also why I cannot see this order pending anywhere, although I have followed correctly the whole procedure and I have paid this amount to you.
It worries me that I cannot see my order 13157356 anywhere in y account menu.
Please answer me urgently, because I have already asked this, and in your menu FAQ there is written that you answer questions within 48 hoursm which has not happened.
I wait for your feedback.
Thank you"
The most annoying thing is that I have never received an answer.
Also, can I know something: why my order doesn't show anywhere, not even PENDING? Usually, at least the status should be possible to see! There is no track anywhere of this order, but I have made the payment through the payment reference found in the order sheet when I issued the order, so if it has been lost, how will be Skype be able to track my payment reference and associated it to the related order, if this order is no longer existing?

7 to 10 days to pay your phone bill or you can't make any calls.

All right, it actually took 10 days to get our SKYPE group creditted. You were all right.
Now, we know how long it take.
I must admit we are very happy with SKYPE and SKYPE Group !
Just go on !

Same here.
We payed 8 days ago and I wrote two times to the Staff because no credit is still available... but NO REPLY !!!!!
It's hard for me to promote Skype in my company if there are so many problems to pay money !!!!
We are used to have problems to get money from Customers, not to pay the Suppliers
PS
I'm sorry for my spaghetti-english

Yeah I agree - A bit weird to have all this trouble to give them our money!! I am having just as hard a time with moneybookers and credit card payment see below aposting done recently:
I have tried paying for groups using my credit card and it was rejected-probably because I have bought credit for myself personaly-is that why?
OK so to try and solve it, a work member, who has never used his card went through the lengthy process of setting up a new group, a new moneybooker account and then the same thing happened-It was rejected by Skype- Any idea why- I know they give some reasons but cant see any reason why the second attempt would not be accepted. Please help i need to get my work colleagues onto skype to use the phones- Man you guys make it hard to use this service!!

I will poin this thread to Skype Staff.
Next time please start your own thread. Hijacking another one can be confusing and overlooked.

Hi
I sent the required amount to Skype Group bank account by bank transfer 20 days ago. No credit received - what a surprise.
I did get the standard reply when I chased support saying it would take 7-10 days to credit. I responded that it had already been 14 days therefore what was going on. No response.
It seems Skype support only want to deal with easy answers and not the ones troubling us.
If my credit is not applied to my account within the next 48 hours or returned to my bank within the same period, I will make a complaint to the police as it appears that Skype are taking our money and not providing the goods. In the UK this is known as fraud.
Skype Support, please come back to me with your serious response before close of business UK time Wednesday.
Thank You

It seems they take as much notice of you as they do all of us whom pay their salaries, thanks for trying. Still no credit and still no answer to this or the numerous emails sent to them.
Oh well, a complaint to the police seems to be the way to go. I will not let this matter drop until satisfaction is received.
POTENTIAL BUYERS OF THIS BEWARE. SKYPE TAKES YA MONEY BUT PROVIDES NOTHING IN RETURN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The strange thing with Skype payment options is that for the countries, which have a lot of alternative operators, VoIP services and so on - there are Bank Transfer, CC, PayPal ...
But for the countries where cheap and alternative access to international and local calls (i.e Skype) is ESSENTIAL and VITAL (e.g my Russia) - we are limited to Moneybookers, which in turn is also limited in loading methods.
So, I suppose that Skype is losing a lot of cash simply making difficulties for the people willing to pay. I understand that CC chargebacks are a problem, but in every country one can assign some agent which will collect the payments from local users and in local currencies and settle with Skype in euros or whatever, takind the chargeback risks.
We have tried several times to propose this to Skype via well-known proposal form on the website, but obviously got no answer at all.
As I can see, some people from Skype are reading this forum... Can anybody from Skype answer - why do you prefer losing money and customers ?
