Is there any method to develop a customized client that can use Skype service? Thanks for any comment.

you could write a program using the skype api that would be able to do just about anything that you wanted to. however you would still need to have skype running so its kinda pointless.

Is there no other way to develop a Skype client for embedded devices those official clients doesn't support? The embedded devices may include feature phones, digital tv, ....
