So I was really careful before buying a skype unlimited world subscription because I had experienced skype trying to steal from me before, and I read about all the other people skype stole from in the forums. But I decided to buy the subscription. And the standard calling itself works fine with no problems, but the subscription is supposed to include a free Skype To Go number.
I thought I read all of the fine print, there's no way skype can steal from me again, right? WRONG. When I go to set up the skype to go number, there's a list of 224 countries and territories, but china is not one of them. China is of course the only country I'm interested in calling. Guess what, Skype's To Go page at http://www.skype.com/intl/en/allfeatures/togo/ says nothing about banned countries.
It says: "If you buy a subscription you'll also be able to set up a free Skype To Go number and call landlines (and mobiles in some countries) included as part of your subscription."
China is included as part of my subscription. Therefore I can call landlines and mobiles there, right? Except, this sentence is a lie, and false advertising. There is a small sentence at the very bottom that says "Where can I call with my Skype To Go number?" and when I clicked it, it brought up this page: https://support.skype.com/faq/FA1303/How-mu...-Go-number-cost
That page says nothing about China being blocked. Skype has false advertising about Skype To Go. What I want is for Skype to be honest and change the page so that other people like me aren't tricked by Skype's false advertising.
