I've got skype working semi-reliably on my ubuntu breezy (debian linux) box with kernel version 2.6.12, with alsa, aRts, running under artsdsp.

However, I continually get these "write error, written = -1" on my console. While it generally works, skype is still a little flakey for me (sometimes have to restart it, sometimes it hangs up my amarok (music player)), so I'm anxious to track down this problem.

Hoping someone has some suggestions.
