Hi,
I'm totally new to Skype. I installed it last night so my kids can see my parents when my parents are traveling. Now all the phone numbers on web pages and in signatures are modified to a skype format. I copy and paste phone numbers as part of my job and when I do it now, it doesn't get the whole number because the whole number is not shown in the skype format. I want to turn this off. I went into Advanced phone settings and unchecked the callto: but it didn't fix the problem.
Help. Please.

Hi, I read the forum postings and went to Tools/Manage Add-Ons/and Disabled the Skype Add on. I closed all open Windows of IE.
It is still doing it.

Also, I don't have a Skype icon on my IE toolbar.

The quickest solution in your case, would be to re-install Skype ("Do NOT uninstall") when you see the "Options" button during the install process, click on it, make sure that the toolbar Check box is NOT checked and continue the install.
Here is the link to the download page:

Ok, my bad. I disabled one Skype add -on, I didn't realize there were two I needed to disable. I disabled the second one and it is now fixed.
Thanks for your help!
