Is there anyways to prevent the chat history from being reread once skype is restarted. I am working on a plugin that responds to triggers from the chat and the problem is that once skype is restarted if you chat with the same person skype goes and reads the whole chat history as new messages this leads to messages getting sent again when they dont need to be. So is there anyway via the API to stop this.

I neve encountered behavoiur you described. Maybe I just misunderstand. Also, try enabling chat history if this is disabled currently.

maybe i wasn't clear the problem is that if skype is closed and reopened when you chat with someone the api was reading the chat history as new messages and thus responding to all the triggers again.
