Hello!
I was supprised to find out that Russian version of Skype web-site is composed in "thou - way". As I know in English "thou was used to express intimacy, familiarity, or even disrespect while another pronoun, you, the oblique/objective form of ye, is for formal circumstances" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thou)

I return thanks for this great opportunity to communicate with people all over the world and I am sure that this comment makes my contribution to the product.

Since it's not fixed yet (neither on the web site nor in Skype's interface), I'd like to stress it. Don't make me cite wikipedia again:
"Use of ty without consent of the other person is likely to be viewed as poor conduct or even as an insult".
For example, french version of Skype utilizes V-form ("vous") for its users.
Should russian community expect the same level of politeness?
