Full Version: Translated version makes Skype freeze

Hiya, hope someone knows what to do - I'm working on the Gaelic translation of the interface and am a fair way through it. However, since upgrading to the latest version I've run into what I think is a bug.

When I have the Gaelic language file loaded and someone tries to videocall me, Skype first of all freezes and then after a few seconds opens between 1 and 25 of the following error messages:

Exception EConvertError in module Skype.exe at 0000A816 Format '%' invalid or incomplete with argument.

And then it crashes and closes itself.

It kinda looks to me like I've missed out part of a translation but I have been unable to locate it (if that's indeed the reason). If I switch the language file, everything works fine.

Any ideas would be very welcome!

Cheers,

Mike

Aloha, Mike :)

Do you still have the previous installer? If so, get English file from previous and current client and see what's changed with a diff soft of your choice (WinMerge here). And concentrate on variables (%s, %d stuff) that has either added or removed or changed.

Hope that it helps
