Hi All,

I have just dowloaded skype from Mandrake Linux 10 yet it will not install on my system. I am a Linux newbie and have not used rpm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

to install Skype, you need to do: sudo rpm -ivh <packagename>.rpm
it will prompt you for the root user password, enter it and it will then install.
