Hi all,

I am a business user attempting to transfer my two online personal numbers into my business control panel.

The help instructions listed here: http://support.skype.com/en_US/faq/FA10048...l-Panel-account

Specifically state:

"The current owner of the online number needs to log in to their account at skype.com. From the account page, click Manage under the online number section. If you are a member of a control panel, you will see a link displayed which says Transfer this number to the control panel – company name. Simply click on this button to transfer ownership."

I've logged into my personal account, gone to the online number section. However there is NO "manage" link, under this section. (https://secure.skype.com/account/?page=onlineNumber)

I've spent 10 minutes looking at every inch of the page for it!

Am I looking at the right page? I can't seem to find any other online number section once I have logged into my personal account, so I believe that I am following the instructions correctly.

Anyone?

P.S - I've also looked extensively in the business control panel, again to no avail.

Same issue here. I remember BEFORE skype launched this new site (with many missing features), it was easy to transfer numbers from a personal account to the Business Control Panel however, now... well.. that's why this forum exist. Please assist with transferring skype numbers to the business control panel.

To all,

The online numbers are transferrable on the BCP member page not on the front page.

Additional instructions:

If you wish to transfer your personal online number to the panel, please follow these instructions:

1. Log into your account: https://secure.skype.com/account/,
2. Locate "Settings and extras">Business Control Panel> press "View details",
3. Click "Online numbers" tab,
4. Under "Online number" selection you will find "Transfer this number to the control panel - /name of the panel/". Click on this link,
5. You will see a confirmation page. Please read the notes and if you agree, click "Confirm",
6. Your number has been successfully transferred to the panel. Administrator of the panel can manage this online number here: https://secure.skype.com/business/skypein/manage/.

Important:
Please note that this transaction cannot be reversed and from that moment on the number will be property of the Business Control Panel. It cannot be transferred back to the personal account, however the administrator of the Business Control Panel can still assign the online number to any member.

Also please note that voicemail will not be transferred.

This drove me crazy for about 3 solid days.
Here's the answer:

As of July 21st 2009, it is no longer possible to assign online numbers
to your Business Control Panel for regular consumer members of your
Business Control Panel. New online numbers purchased after July 22nd can
only be assigned to business owned accounts created over the Business
Control Panel.

Business accounts can be created here:
https://secure.skype.com/business/manage/addusers
Under "Create a business account".
(or log into Business Control Panel as administrator, then chose Company tab, then Manage Users.)

Online numbers purchased before that date can be assigned to regular
consumer accounts of the Business Control Panel as well as to the
business accounts. However, please be aware that in case the old online
number is assigned to a business account, it cannot be assigned to any
of the old consumer accounts of the Business Control Panel while it
belongs to the same Business Control Panel.

The online numbers purchased after July 21st can be freely assigned and
reassigned between the single business accounts of the Business Control
Panel by the administrator.

Thank you for your understanding and let us know if you have any
additional questions.

This sucks because I've already created "personal" accounts for a few of my employees AND paid for calling subscriptions! I had to create a new "business" account for the users (with different user names) and then I could assign the online numbers.

Why a Skype employee wouldn't just add a post to this forum is beyond me!
Ridiculous.

Hi Ike,
I followed all the steps you mentioned. However, in the BCP settings/Online numbers there is no place to transfer the number to the Business Account which has been also created by me.

Please advise how I can do this.
Thank you,

Please Submit a Support Ticket with as many as possible details. I ma afraid that I don't know the answer to your problem.

Replies to support tickets can take a minimum of 2 working days. To blocked accounts even 4 because Skype often needs to verify details with 3rd payment parties.

Please always check your SPAM settings and the SPAM folder at the server for replies from Skype.
