I find that when Skype for Linux starts, it arbitrarily changes my sound_device_configuration. This is very annoying. Is there a configuration file that exists on the filesystem? If so, I can just chattr the file... or, alternatively, simply write a script that will [re]set (via sed/PERL/whatever) the correct values.

Skype Support is horrible -- they've failed to respond to my basic requests for assistance. Annnyway, this seems like it must be on the local system... for if these settings were in a remote database (some sort of persistence backend), they'd not likely change so frequently.

-- Thanks...

BTW: Fedora release 10 (Cambridge) with kernel 2.6.27.15-170.2.24.fc10.i686 running Skype 2.0.0.72
