you can't. there is no reason to not store it on the server. if you are paranoide that somebody might see your userlist, you shouldn't be using the internet

Or you may try using an oldfashionned version 1.0.0.1 oder below... but that probably doesn't help either!

Yes you can...
Edit your config.xml file : under <CentralStorage>, create new item:
<Enable>0</Enable>



PS : your config.xml file is located in a directory "$HOME/.Skype/yourskypename".
