Full Version: Skype 4.0 nasty bug with multiple chat windows...

I like how I can better manage my message windows with Skype 4.0, but the problem is there's a REALLY bad bug where they lose their location within a chat. I'll have a window at the bottom of the chat log, and the window will lose it's place at the bottom, so I get stuck up above, thinking the message I see at the bottom of the window was the last chat message when it was not. Essentially additional chats are posting BELOW the bottom of the window. Yes, the scrollbar will move up, but when you have a chat window containing days of chats, the scrollbar just doesn't represent things properly.

We somehow need a feature/option to say "auto-scroll window to bottom" or to fix this bug because the previous version didn't have this problem, and it's making it VERY difficult to communicate within my business when I don't know if what I'm looking at is the most recent comment...

I've got this problem, too.

I have a chat session open with about 8 people and it's over two weeks old by now. From time to time the window simply will not scroll to the bottom - therefore leaving me somewhere in the middle of the conversation.

I know that there are new messages (orange dots on the side) but it's annoying since I have to manually scroll to the end of the conversation.

I did not have this problem with the older Skype. I am using Skype 4.0.0.206

What's even worse is Skype doesn't remember your window locations, so if you have a monitor full of organized chat windows (I have 7 of them), you have to resize and reposition every time... Grrrr...
