We're always trying to come up with ways we can improve how Skype can help your business. To help us do this we are inviting our business users to talk to us about how they use Skype.

We are planning a research group in London on the 18th February 2009. As a thank you for taking part in the research, we will compensate for your time.

We have hired a research agency called Saros Research Ltd to help us organize this research. If you are interested in participating in these interviews, please fill in this short questionnaire located here.

Replies to your email will be directly received and processed by Saros who will confirm your participation and the location of the research group.

.sarosresearch.com demands a great deal of personal information and does not apparently provide any way easy way to contact them by any means. Having na interest in this study and other such work,I sought to find out more about them before I went any further. The lack of contact information leaves me suspicious about their motives and agenda.

In my mind the Skype management need look no further than the countless complaints about account problems from their side from very angry paying customers, and another set about the lack of service. A large part of my disappointment with Skype comes from the unreliability of a quality connection in Skype-out calls. That too, I suspect, is not late breaking news.

I enjoy the free side of Skype2Skype calls, but given all of the above, I would never put carefully honed business relationships in their hands. Too many of the posted comments indicate such a misplaced trust can sink a small or large business with the force of a nuclear torpedo.

I suggest you read the comments and act on them before you look to outside services.

I've just looked at the initial questionnaire. How on earth can they say that the date of birth of your children is relevant to this exercise?

Thank you very much for your feedback on this topic.

The form that Saros are using for this particular participant recruitment is their standard form which is why there are some questions in there that might seem irrelevant.

Should you still wish to participate in the research, please send me a PM and I will forward you the relevant contact details directly.
