How can I hide the "Shop" and orange "Give feedback" tabs under version 4.0.0.176?

The "Shop" tab is clearly an abuse from Skype that I want to hide. (I'm a paying customer.)

The "Give feedback" tab is really annoying: It pops up (at the bottom of the Skype window) even when I have done NOTHING!?

Right now these tabs can't be hidden, but I have suggested one option to lessen the impact on users.



I agree. I don't like adverts. I hope it will be controlled by the "Show promotions" option, so people have the choice to hide it.



I think this is for feedback during the Beta testing. I'm sure people will complain if that big yellow button is in the final product.

So you contacted them? Because it hasn't worked - there is now a big shop button on the download that skype just installed for itself. I would NOT like to have that button, because I end up pressing it by accident when mousing for stuff I DO want. How can I erase it from my application? It is an abuse.
