I using Slackware Linux and has been upgrade my skype from 1.0.20 to 1.1.0.3_API and skype don't work... Then load from terminal and a lib cannot be found, libdbus-1.so.0.
I copy libdbus-1.so.0.0.0 from a friend and put in /usr/lib and create a symbolic link: ln -s libdbus-1.so.0.0.0 libdbus-1.so.0
Now Skype is working normally.
If you have the same problem, download libdbus-1.so.0.0.0 from:

http://datavia.homelinux.com:5080/download...dbus-1.so.0.0.0

Don't forget create a symbolic link.

ln -s libdbus-1.so.0.0.0 libdbus-1.so.0
Agora meu skype esta funcionando normalmente.
Se vc teve o mesmo problema pode copiar a libdbus-1.so.0.0.0 de:

http://datavia.homelinux.com:5080/download...dbus-1.so.0.0.0

Não esqueça de criar o link simbolico.

Abraços.

You can also download the entire dbus library from here.

http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software_2fdbus

But, even after you've compiled and installed, you must still create the symbolic link as was mentioned above.
