Hello. I just subscribed to a worldwide subscription but unfortunately I did not notice that it doesn't work for my city it works only for St.Petersburg and Moscow so it's absolutely useless for me so I had to buy credits. I canceled my subscription but my credit card was already charged for this month but I'm not going to use it it was just a mistake. So is it any way I can get my money back by canceling the transaction?
Thank you

Did you cancel on-line?
If so, your subscription will be refunded automatically to your credit card if that is how you paid.
This may take several days as your funds will be held in an escrow account by your financial institution pending further instructions from you.
This is standard practice in the financial services industry.

i have submitted a lot of request, but i dont know why there is no respond.
Unlimited Plans are designed to be ''self-managed''.
It's not something which CS would do.
To cancel your subscription go to Account Page > Subscription Settings > Cancel.
Cancelation is effective from the next billing date.

(n)Dear Norman, take care of my case and return me my money. I have not agree with the charge of VAT and 9.14 $ ...I have agree with 5.90$. Now explain to me why I can not cancel my subscription, when you have changed the price ? Why all you people do when I ask for help to cancel it is telling me "Go to account- then manage" and where is the "manage" there? There is no "manage" in my account. So please cancel it and return me my money now, cause I am tired of the reply what I have from customer service.
Together you had from me ower 30$ free money - if you look in my account you see it. The 20$ card from walmart for skype...never worked...so I got the 3 months for 5.90 ?( what you have changed to 9.14 )and 8$ card from walmart....Great program with por customer service.
Anyway how can you charge the VAT when I pay from US Bank?

Very unusual!
In the absence of the cancel tab you will need to request a manual cancelation from Customer Support.
Alternatively if there are insufficient funds in your credit account to cover the renewal the Plan will be automatically canceled.

I've tried to cancel a few times finally got around to doing it through PayPal because the "Cancel" button is not on any of my Skype's including Windows 7 or Windows Vista on the laptop, I just checked. If there's supposed to be one something is seriously wrong.

Hello,
1. Can you be more precise please?
Are you referring to an Unlimited Plan renewal cost being debited to your Skype credit account?
If so which Plan?
Date purchased?
Renewal date?
What do the figures 10:43 and 10:19 refer to?
2. Did you cancel it on-line yourself?
3. Subscription for an Unlimited Plan, OnLine #, STG, Other?
4. By filing here:
https://support.skype.com/supportSelectionbut let me have the answers to my questions above first.
Thank you.

I am referring to a unlimited canada and US plan being charged to my credit card and i did not request it. i know it does it automatically, but it was chartged before the time they told me it was going to be. it was purchased on june 26 and i do not want it renewed. 10:43 is when they said it would automatically be recharged and 10:19 was the time i realized they had already put it through. Yes, i cancelled it myself online immediately when i saw it.
and that website you gave me doesnt work. the page keeps reloading and asking for my username and password even though it was entered correctly

1. All Unlimited Plans are ''recurring'' and will renew automatically until cancelled.
2. It would renewed on July 23rd.
The first renewal takes place 3 days in advance to allow for any last minute changes in the funding source.
This only happens on the first renewal.
3. Cancellation is effective from the next billing date.
4. It seems to be working normally. [I've just tested it].

That's the catch: There is no cancel buttom. The only way to cancel is to insist sending them emails or to call the credit card company and block skype.

That's the catch: There is no cancel buttom.
Some users have found that the ''cancel'' button is missing from their Account Page.
This has been reported to Skype who are investigating.
Can you please let me know the date and time you last accessed the relevant page.
Thanks.

No it doesn't. It just redirects me to the generic support page (
