Full Version: How online number and call forward works?

Please correct me if my understanding below is wrong.

Assume I have got an Online Number Unlimited Country Subscription. Before I leave my original country say Hong Kong, I purchase Skype credits and divert my Hong Kong mobile no to the online number.

After I fly to another country say Brazil, I buy a local SIM card there. Then I set Call Forwarding setting in Skype [Options > Calls > Call Forwarding] to the mobile number of that local SIM card.

If my Skype is Online, and I am called at my Hong Kong mobile no, Online number, or Skype icon,
My Skype will ring first. If not answered in the seconds specified in Skype Options, the calls forwarded number will ring. If answered by Skype, no extra cost. If answered by the calls forwarded number, Skype credits will be consumed. How about calls are forwarded but not answered? Will Skype credit be consumed?

If my Skype is Offline, and I am called at my Hong Kong mobile no, Online number, or Skype icon,
Will the calls be forwarded to the calls forwarded number after the seconds specified in Skype Option? Or immediately? If answered by the calls forwarded number, Skype credits will be consumed. How about calls are forwarded but not answered? Will Skype credit be consumed?

Also, I can call any landline or mobile phone from the 34 countries listed on http://www.skype.com/allfeatures/subscriptions/rowcountry/ via Skype at no extra cost due to the online number subscription.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I can't post a question as I'm new. I have had Skye on a world subscription plan for a while now with 3 free on-line numbers. My card never worked when the payment was due and the 2 numbers I had got turned off. I managed to reactivate one but when I try to reactivate the other one it is asking me to pay? Whats the deal, Is it only 1 on-line number included now? or am I missing something?
