Is there a plan from Skype to take this serious or should you as a business user just hope and pray that you never need support.

My current experience is that after 2 weeks of trying to get the attention of customer support I still do not have my issue resolved or any indication of the issue will be solved (blocked account).
Yes I actually paid for subscriptions and first time I tried to use the business panel my account got blocked without any notice or warning.
I still have not gotten any feedback except on how to change password (the same as on there FAQ).

So my current advice if you think about using Skype, if it works great service and price. If you need customer support outside the FAQ page answers get something else customer service can not be worse.

I even called them on there phone number +352 2610 2133 and was told to expect and answer within 48 hours of sending a support request.

My question to you is. Are they working on it? (After 2 weeks of no resolution)

This is the fastest I have gotten anything from Skye yet.

Again, have you asked Norman what the status is on your issue by sending him a PM ("Private Message")?

Thanks for the reply, and please forgive my frustration.
I still feel you need a call in line for emergency situations like I found myself in -
facing repeated overdrafts while waiting 24-48 hours for Skype to respond by email.

Below is the order that caused all the trouble.

I think this is a lesson that Auto anything is dangerous.

For example, the protocol I understood to be in force is that IF my credit fell to $2, the Auto thing would trigger.
At the time you generated the request, I had about $8.50!
So WHY did this happen at all? It violated the agreement I signed for, AND caused $40 in overdrafts.
IF I understand what happened, Skype's robots triggered anyway, even though I had enough credit at the time.
So, at this point, I feel that Skype was in error in this case, perhaps caused by some software error.

I now have a letter to the bank from PayPal explaining what happened and suggesting they refund our overdrafts.
Skype could help by offering a similar letter.

Please call our bank HFS Federal Credit Union 808 961 2666 and explain the situation.
The account is 51917 under Paradise Newland and have them remove the overdraft charges.
Barring that, perhaps Skype could pay the overdrafts they helped caused?

More importantly, in order to stop the repetitive overdraft problem, I reported the Skype transaction as fraudulent, that was my only option to stop the process, and then PayPal severed the contract for similar reasons.

Then, your Skype responded by suspending my account.

I find the service useful, and has worked great except for this current matter.

In view of the fact that the Skype has helped keep me in touch with colleagues in England and on Kauai, I would be grateful for the service to be re-instated. Please contact PayPal to re-attach the billing etc

Another matter has come out of this too.

In all the traffic with PayPal over this, they now want more security information - and have suspended use of the PayPal account attached to planetpuna@yahoo.com

Can you please contact PayPal and help us reinstate our account?

This is important, because we have been using PayPal extensively and we are expecting a large transaction that is currently blocked, right when we are expecting a "wire" of funds.

All of the above has caused a certain amount of chaos here, and has taken a good part of 2 days to deal with, and I have other work to do in addition.

I appreciate anything you can help on this matter, and please fix your AutoCharge sofware!

1) Call Paypal and fix the link to you
2) Help get our Paypal reinstated
3) Call our bank to help remove the overdrafts
4) Please reinstate my Skype account so I can use it again

I PROMISE I will forever avoid AutoCharge from now on! It is amazing the consequences of letting that get by me!
Seemed like a great idea at the time, ouch!

I have the same problem. Skype blocked my account after I sent in money from MY credit card. This is after someone hacked my paypal account and ordered
6 fraudulent number. I have not heard back from them since DEC. 4th. I use skype for business numbers, so now Im losing money.

According your account details you made call of 6 minutes without being charged. This means you you can use your subscription.

Accounts are blocked for the users own safety, e.g. someone could have hijacked your account with the purpose to use your money to place calls. Or you try to call from a known (recognized byt he system this is) fraudelent destination (a different IP, country etc) etc.

I want to cancel my subscribtion and get a refund. I havent used skype before and my friend told me that I can get a Skype number by subsrcibing. I did not and was offered a 50% discount after purchasing the subscription. I only want a skype number so that my family can contact me. I do not need the services that was provided in my subscription. All I want now is a refund.

Replies to support tickets can take a minimum of 2 working days and refunds sometimes up to 3 weeks.

Please always check your SPAM settings and the SPAM folder at the server for replies from Skype.

I too am having a problem with Skype in resolving an issue with my trying to call my mom and others with skype and getting this on the screen connection lost. Then I go to my account and see a msg (You are currently restricted from purchasing services or redeeming vouchers. Please contact Customer Support to review your account status). I'm thinking is it because I stopped a activation of unlimited calls in the US & Canada? Wrote an email to support@skype.net and this is what I got back info email and another email with the link http://support.skype.com it does not solve my issue I even tried to reactivate the unlimeted calls and it wont let me do that. I cannot use skype until this problem is resolved. Is anyone out there having the same problem as me.

Ike; you've got it in one!

So why does Uberlord keep telling user dkjkj-a to continue talking to Norman!!!! dkjkj-a has communicated with (non-existent) support and, like so many others who have gone before had no reply from (non-existent) support, and found the only channel open to them which is to request, and sometimes plead, for some assistance from "friends of Skype" like yourself.

If Skype block an account, and especially a Business Account, then the very least they should do is communicate the reasons why with the Business User and PRO-ACTIVELY seek resolution. We all know this does not happen; and is one reason why I will never, never, ever set up a business account with Skype.

So, you, Norman, someone else,Skype? shoot me down and make a counter-argument that Skype Support is good, responsive etc. IT IS PATHETIC! (and don't get me started on Skype's outlet partner InStore, who are just as bad at support delivery!!)

Many users have commented favorably on the level of service they have received.
