I'm trying to use my mini dv camera as a webcam on Skype. I've got it hooked up the computer through a fire wire. I can see through the camera fine in various programs so I know it working right with the computer. But when I click on the Sony DV Devise or WebCamDV Capture in the Video Settings, all I see in the preview section is a logo that says WebCamDV in it.
I've uploaded a picture that shows camera working through one program (on the left) & what the Skype Options look like when I have Sony DV Devise select. (on the right). I have tried to get it working without any other applications running.
Anyone know how to get this working?
