ok so ive been asking questions via support request for 3-4 weeks now and out of the 6 i asked i recieved 3 cut and paste canned responses not answering my questions-PLEASE NO CUT AND PASTE OR POINT TO WEBPAGES ive been thru knowledge base

1- I want to get 1 personal skypein number with voicemail to use as my home phone to recieve incoming calls to the voicemail only NOT TO BE ANSWERED..

2- I want to get a second account for my internet radio and tv show with a seperate voicemail for that

BOTH ACCOUNTS LET PEOPLE CALL INTO VOICEMAIL and only #2 Allows me to ANSWER CALLS WHILE ONLINE

WITHOUT POINTING TO BUSINESS CONTROL PANEL HOW DO I DO THAT DO I REGISTER IT WITH MY RADIOSHOW SKYPE NAME THEN HOW DO I GET MY PERSONAL NAME IN THERE?

ONCE I HAVE 2 seperate accounts in BCP where do i go from there do i Buy voicemail only, skype in for each or what?

ALSO I HAVE DOWNLOADED SKYPE PERSONAL 3.8 Do i need to uninstall it and to install the business skype

BTW THE BUSINESS ACCOUNT WOULD ONLY HAVE ME ON IT USING BOTH ACCOUNTS

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS NEEDED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS OR WHO I CAN SPEAK WITH
PLEASE IVE HELD OFF PURCHASING FOR OVER 1 MONTH NOW DUE TO NO ANSWERS AND CONFUSION

Hi,

All voicemail settings are set from within the Skype client. Top menu item: TOOLS > OPTIONS > CALLS > VOICEMAIL. You can use the version of Skype that you mentioned you already had.

- You must have purchased a subscription or voicemail to have this service enabled.
- You must have an online number assigned to this specific account.

1. To direct immediately to voicemail: Find the option "Send calls to voicemail if..." If I don't answer within "0" seconds. That will direct calls directly to voicemail, even if you are online.

2. To direct to voicemail if the call is not answered: Allow a time limit of X seconds )as much as you prefer) in the box above.

Please understand that you can be logged in with one Skype Name at a time.

ok thanx for the reply i already knew this but its still NOT answering my question heres what i MUST know to make it simplier


#1- in business control panel (BCP) im registered as my radioshow name. Do i need to install business skype to be able to make my personal name or can i just add it to the contact?

This way my bcp has my radioshow name and my personal name on the account and then i can purchase skypein (2) and allocate them 1 to each??

Will this Then Give me 2 seperate voicemails which i need if not what must i do to get that?

i cant use personal skype with 2 skypein numbers because i was told it shares 1 voicemail...

#2- i have personal skype 3.8 installed do I need to install skype for business to accomplish #1 or just the bcp?

#3 why do the skypein numbers cost more money in bcp? isnt there anyway to have one account and 2 seperate skypein numbers and voicemail?

If it takes that much effort to get a reply from their sales people, just consider that with most companies it's generally far easier to get a reply from sales people when you're a potential customer than from support people when you are an existing customer. This might give you a bit of a heads-up on what to expect if you do decide to go with Skype...
