I am wondering is it possible to have my Skype In phone number automatically rerouted to call my regular mobile phone? Or do I just get the Skype mobile app to achieve this? I am very interested to know what is the most cost efficient way to run a business using skype. I have a skype account and I also have a mobile phone using Tmobile and another phone for another business that uses Vonage. I want to merge all of them. Any suggestions?

Yes, Skype call forwarding can be set-up to accomplish your first requirement. You can also forward multiple SkypeIn numbers.

However, if you need to treat each of the numbers differently, port existing numbers, or have multiple employees, you may want to consider a Skype Virtual PBX OnState Virtual PBX for Skype

I'm also looking into using Skype for business. Unfortunately I spend at least 5 hours/day out of the office so need to forward calls to my mobile whilst away from the computer.

This works fine but costs 14.4p/min PLUS VAT, very expesnive (and very annoying when some salesperson calls me trying to sell something!)

I bought a 3 Skypephone but they don't allow calls from SkypeIn numbers so it was useless to me, it only allows Sype-Skype.

When I'm based somewhere for the day I can have calls diverted to a landline at a reasonable rate but mobiles remain expensive. Am I using call forwarding/Skype correctly or is there a cheaper method?

I was thinking it would be nice to be able to nominate one mobile number for FREE calls as part of the Unlimited Country packages. I know other countries (HK, USA, Canada) allow free cell phone calls but we're still suffering in the UK.

Are there any plans? Am I missing something which could save money?

Having free diverts to landlines and ONE mobile would surely make Skype the ultimate accessory for business owners who are mobile much of the day. I thought the 3 Skypephone was the answer but disapointed to find out it's just Skype-Skype.

Any help, thoughts?
