The latest static QT download of Skype doesn't work on Mandrake 9.2. When I install it, the login window comes up empty (all white) with only a little man icon and some empty boxes visible and the main window is infinitely wide, also all white except for some outlines of the fields.

Has anyone solved this one? The reposrces path is set properly.

Alternatively, can someone tell me where I can download a Skype RPM that works on Mandrake 9.2?

For the issue of infinite size, move ~/.qt/qtrc away, and restart Skype, this should help. (There is a issue with a configuration in that file, a font if I remember well). You may also try the dynamic tar version of Skype, or does that one have a QT version that is too old?
